• Job Title: Technical Business Analyst / System Migration SME

• Location: Knowsley, Liverpool (Hybrid: 2–3 days on-site per week + travel to go-live contract sites)

• Contract Length: 3 to 6 Month Initial Contract (High probability of extension based on performance)

• Daily Rate: £400 – £500 per day (Inside IR35)

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours (Standard office hours: 8am–4pm / 9am–5pm)

• Start Date: Immediate / Urgent (Targeting onboarding prior to mid-October go-live)

Are you an experienced Technical Business Analyst or System Migration Specialist with hands-on SME knowledge of MRI Repairs?

We are urgently recruiting a delivery-focused Business Analyst / Technical SME to join a fast-paced IT project team in Knowsley, Liverpool. The team is currently executing an in-flight, multi-stream migration project transitioning legacy housing maintenance systems over to the new MRI Repairs works management platform.

This is an initial 3 to 6 month contract to cover a key vacancy, with strong potential for further extensions for a high-performing candidate who integrates well with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• UAT & Quality Assurance: Lead, write, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts, ensuring all functional requirements and system configurations are fully validated ahead of go-live dates.

• Data Migration Support: Assist with data mapping, data profiling, and validation checks during the transition from legacy systems to MRI Repairs.

• MRI System Configuration (SME Role): Hands-on setup and administration within MRI Repairs, including configuring contracts, operational workflows, and setting up system users.

• On-Site Go-Live & Hypercare: Provide hands-on cutover support and hypercare to back-office staff and contract managers during live site migrations. This includes occasional travel to client operational sites across the UK alongside the wider IT project team.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with Project Managers, BAs, IT trainers, and operational contract leads to maintain project momentum.

Candidate Profile & Experience Required:

• Technical BA Track Record: Proven background as a hands-on Business Analyst on IT system migrations, software rollouts, or enterprise application integrations (not purely high-level business change).

• MRI Repairs / Works Management SME: Essential hands-on technical familiarity with MRI Repairs (or similar social housing works management systems), including experience setting up contracts, trades, and users.

• Testing & Data Migration: Strong background executing UAT testing cycles and verifying data migration outputs.

• Mobility & Site Presence: Based within a reasonable commute of Knowsley, Liverpool (able to work on-site 2–3 days per week) and willing to travel to client sites when contract migrations go live.
