Gateman – Bexleyheath

Skilled Careers are currently looking for an experienced Gateman to join a busy construction site in Bexleyheath.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the site entrance, controlling deliveries and ensuring vehicles and visitors enter and leave the site safely.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Gateman / Traffic Marshal on a construction site

• Valid CSCS card and relevant traffic marshal/gateman ticket where required

• Good understanding of site health & safety procedures

• Confident communicating with drivers, visitors and site staff

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking

• Able to work well as part of a team

• Full PPE – hard hat, hi-vis and safety boots

Duties:

• Managing the site entrance and gate

• Directing vehicles safely in and out of site

• Controlling deliveries and assisting delivery drivers

• Checking visitors and deliveries entering the site

• Maintaining a safe and organised entrance

• Communicating with Site Management

• Assisting with general site duties when required
