Project Quantity Surveyor | Repairs & Maintenance | Permanent

Project Quantity Surveyor required for an established property maintenance contractor delivering a long-term social housing contract in Winchester. With a new contract mobilising, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing commercial team from day one and play a key role in the successful delivery of responsive repairs, voids and planned maintenance works.

Job Description

• Managing the commercial delivery of a responsive repairs and maintenance contract across Winchester, ensuring projects are delivered profitably and in line with contractual requirements.
• Producing accurate CVRs, cost forecasts, valuations and commercial reports to maintain financial control across multiple workstreams.
• Procuring and managing subcontractors, including payment applications, variations, contract administration and final accounts.
• Working closely with operational teams, supervisors and contract management to identify commercial risks and maximise contract performance.
• Supporting the successful mobilisation and ongoing delivery of repairs, voids, planned maintenance and bespoke project works across the Winchester contract.

Skills / Qualifications

• Experienced Project Quantity Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Surveyor with previous experience working within repairs & maintenance, property services or social housing.
• Strong understanding of Schedule of Rates (SOR), subcontractor management, cost reporting, CVRs and commercial forecasting.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams within responsive repairs, voids or planned maintenance contracts.
• Commercially Astute with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across operational and commercial teams.
• Full UK Driving Licence with the ability to travel as required.
