Job description:

Site Manager – New Build Self Storage Project
Location: Welwyn Garden City
Rate: £280 – £300 per day

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a new build self-storage development in Welwyn Garden City. This is an excellent opportunity to take the lead on a well-defined project involving a steel frame structure with aluminium sheet panel installation and a straightforward fit-out of communal areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day site management and coordination of trades
• Overseeing construction of steel frame and external cladding systems
• Managing health & safety on site and ensuring compliance with regulations
• Monitoring programme, progress, and quality of works
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders
• Ensuring works are delivered on time and within scope

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on similar new build projects
• Strong knowledge of steel frame construction and cladding systems
• Valid SMSTS
• CSCS Card
• First Aid certification
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
