Mobile Electrical Engineer – Temp to Perm – Surrey / Berkshire

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a growing team covering Surrey and Berkshire on a temp to perm basis.

This role offers the chance to secure a long-term permanent position following an initial contract period, working across a portfolio of commercial sites.

The Role

As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across multiple client sites, ensuring all electrical systems are operating safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works
• Fault find, diagnose, and repair electrical systems and associated plant
• Maintain systems including:
  • Lighting and emergency lighting
  • Power distribution and LV systems
  • Control panels and basic BMS interface
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
• Complete job reports and update CAFM systems
• Liaise with clients and provide a high level of customer service

Requirements

• Recognised electrical qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
• Experience within building services / facilities maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Full UK driving licence
