An established housing maintenance provider is looking to recruit an experienced Multi-Skilled Plumber to deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance services across a portfolio of social housing properties in South West London.

About the Role

You will be responsible for carrying out reactive and planned maintenance within occupied and void social housing properties. The role requires a strong focus on delivering efficient, high-quality repairs while ensuring a positive experience for tenants.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing repairs and maintenance in social housing properties
• Deliver reactive repairs and support planned works programmes
• Work in occupied homes, maintaining cleanliness, safety, and professionalism at all times
• Complete jobs to a right-first-time standard, reducing repeat visits
• Undertake multi-trade tasks within skillset, including:
  • Basic carpentry (doors, locks, minor repairs)
  • Ceramic tiling
  • Vinyl flooring
  • Decorating and making good
• Diagnose faults quickly and carry out effective repairs
• Minimise disruption and damage to tenants’ homes
• Accurately record work completed using provided systems
• Participate in a rota system (Monday to Friday)

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in social housing, local authority, or property maintenance
• Strong multi-trade skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload
• Full UK manual driving licence
