Duties

• Assisting with loading and unloading materials, ensuring safe handling at all times
• Preparing work areas by clearing debris and organising tools and equipment
• Supporting tradespeople and other team members with general labouring tasks
• Moving, lifting, and positioning materials or equipment as required
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the work site to uphold safety standards
• Assisting with minor repairs or maintenance tasks under supervision
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations throughout all activities

Requirements

• Previous experience in a labouring or manual handling role is advantageous but not essential
• Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks over extended periods
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team
• Strong organisational skills with attention to safety procedures
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn new skills
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to manual work
• A valid UK driving licence is desirable but not mandatory
