Job Title: Gateman / Material Controller
Location: Herne Bay, Kent

Skilled Careers are currently looking for a reliable Gateman / Material Controller to join a busy construction site in Herne Bay.

Duties will include:

• Controlling site access and signing visitors in and out

• Managing deliveries and ensuring materials are directed to the correct areas

• Keeping accurate records of materials coming on and off site

• Assisting with general site organisation and cleanliness

• Communicating effectively with site management and delivery drivers

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS card and Gateman ticket (Standard ticket, NPORS or CPCS)

• Previous experience as a Gateman or Material Controller preferred

• Good communication and organisational skills

• Punctual, reliable, and safety conscious

• Ability to work well as part of a team

Details:

• Pay rate – £16.18 per hour

• Ongoing work for the right candidate

• Start date – Monday 5th January 2026
