Principal Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services

A growing global MEP design consultancy is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team in the North East region. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to a number of secured, technically-challenging projects.

As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful preparation and delivery of project objectives, providing essential technical support. You will collaborate with senior colleagues and mentor less experienced team members, ensuring high-quality and timely project delivery for clients.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the team to ensure successful preparation and delivery of project objectives, including providing technical support.
• Work with other senior engineers and less senior positions to ensure quality and timely operation delivery for clients.
• Compile specifications, drawings, and relevant contract documents, maintaining the required technical quality of work and ensuring designs comply with relevant codes, standards, regulations, and procedures.
• Deliver elements and components of projects from concept design through to completion, executing Building Services Engineering activities within budget and schedule, whilst maintaining technical integrity.
• Provide Electrical Building Services Engineering design for buildings and infrastructure.
• Identify scope and scheduling changes in accordance with the change control process, maintaining planning and cost control on all scope.
