Mechanical Engineer – Liverpool Street

Overview: We’re seeking a reliable and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join the facilities team of a prestigious legal firm located near Liverpool Street. This role offers a stable weekday schedule and the chance to work in a premium commercial environment with cutting-edge building systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine mechanical maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, and heating systems

• Diagnose and repair faults in pumps, valves, and pipework

• Support minor mechanical installations and refurbishment projects

• Ensure compliance with health & safety and building regulations

• Collaborate with the wider FM team and external contractors to deliver high-quality service

• Maintain detailed service records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services

• Experience in commercial office environments, ideally within legal or financial sectors

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, water treatment, and mechanical plant

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Ability to work proactively and manage own workload
