Design Manager – Bath

An established Tier 1 Main Contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Design Manager to support the delivery of major construction projects in the Bath area.

The Role

As Design Manager, you will manage the design process from pre-construction through to delivery, coordinating consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams.

You will manage design information and programmes, chair design meetings, review technical submissions, identify design risks and ensure solutions meet client, regulatory, commercial and construction requirements.

The Candidate

You should have previous main contractor Design Management experience, ideally as a Design Manager, Assistant Design Manager or Senior Design Coordinator.

You will need strong technical and coordination skills, an understanding of UK Building Regulations and experience managing multidisciplinary design information through relevant RIBA stages.
