We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Carpenter to join our growing team working within the social housing sector. This role involves carrying out a wide range of repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works in occupied and void properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out day-to-day carpentry repairs and maintenance in social housing properties
• Install, repair, and replace doors, windows, kitchen units, flooring, and other wooden fixtures
• Work on both planned and reactive maintenance tasks
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service when working in tenants' homes
• Accurately record job details and materials used

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a carpenter or multi-trader, ideally within social housing
• Strong carpentry skills
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Relevant qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds)
