Location: Islington, North London
Pay: £22.14 per hour PAYE
Vehicle: Company van + fuel card provided
Employment: Full-time, long-term opportunity

We are currently looking for an experienced Multi Trader to join a social housing maintenance team working across Islington and surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will have a strong main trade in either Plumbing or Carpentry, alongside good all-round maintenance skills.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out responsive repairs and general maintenance works within occupied and void social housing properties.

Typical duties will include:

• Carrying out repairs and maintenance within social housing properties

• Completing works to a high standard and within agreed timescales

• Undertaking your main trade of Plumbing or Carpentry

• Carrying out a range of additional multi-trade repairs

• Diagnosing faults and identifying appropriate repair solutions

• Working safely and professionally in tenants' homes

• Completing job sheets and reporting works accurately

• Providing excellent customer service to residents

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Multi Trader / Maintenance Operative

• Main trade must be Plumbing or Carpentry

• Experience working within social housing or property maintenance is highly desirable

• Good knowledge of general building maintenance and repairs

• Full UK driving licence

• Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload

• Good communication and customer service skills
