Senior Planner – Tier 1 Main Contractor

An established Tier 1 Main Contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Planner to join its London team, working across high-quality commercial office and CAT A / CAT B fit-out projects in central London.

The position would suit an experienced construction planner with a strong main contractor background and a proven track record of developing and managing programmes across complex London projects.

The Role

As Senior Planner, you will work closely with pre-construction and project delivery teams to develop, monitor and manage construction programmes from tender through to completion.

Responsibilities will include producing detailed construction programmes, identifying critical paths and programme risks, monitoring progress against key milestones, supporting tender submissions and working closely with project teams to ensure programmes remain achievable.

The Candidate

You should have previous experience working as a Planner or Senior Planner for a main contractor, ideally delivering commercial office, CAT A or CAT B fit-out projects.

Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, programme management and project delivery is required, alongside experience using relevant planning software such as Asta Powerproject.

You should be confident working with senior project teams, subcontractors and clients and be capable of challenging and communicating programme information effectively.
