We are currently looking for an experienced Multi-Trader to join our team working across social housing properties in Dartford and the surrounding areas.

We are particularly interested in candidates with a carpentry or plumbing background who are confident carrying out a range of responsive repairs and maintenance works within occupied properties.

The Role: 

As a Multi Trader, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of maintenance and repair works within social housing properties, ensuring jobs are completed to a high standard and within required timescales.

Typical duties may include: 

• Carpentry and joinery repairs or 
• Plumbing repairs and maintenance
• General property maintenance
• Door, skirting, architrave and flooring repairs
• Basic patch plastering and making good
• Repairs to kitchens and bathrooms
• General reactive maintenance
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently
• Working respectfully within tenants' homes
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, health & safety and customer service

About You: 

We are looking for someone who: 

• Has previous experience working as a Multi-Trader / Maintenance Operative
• Has a strong carpentry or plumbing trade background
• Has experience working within social housing, housing associations or similar maintenance environments
• Can confidently complete a range of repairs outside their core trade
• Takes pride in their workmanship
• Has good communication and customer service skills
• Can work independently and manage their own workload
• Holds a full UK driving licence
