Fabric Engineer – Temp to Perm Opportunity

Location: [Location] £22.00 per hour (Temporary) | £41,000 per annum (Permanent)
Monday – Friday | Full Time

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Fabric Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management team on a temp-to-perm basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong building fabric background looking to secure a long-term position within a commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive building fabric repairs
• Carpentry and joinery works including doors, locks, skirting and ironmongery
• Painting, decorating and general making good
• Ceiling, flooring and partition repairs
• Basic plumbing and general maintenance duties
• Building inspections, fault finding and remedial repairs
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high standard

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as a Fabric Engineer, Building Maintenance Technician or Multi-Trader
• Strong carpentry/joinery and building fabric experience
• Experience working within commercial Facilities Management
• Good fault-finding ability and attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence (if required)
