As a Carpenter, you'll be carrying out reactive and planned maintenance in occupied social housing properties. This is a permanent opportunity for a reliable Carpenter who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a supportive and professional team.

The Role

As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out day-to-day carpentry repairs and maintenance in social housing properties
• Repairing and fitting doors, frames, locks, skirting boards, kitchens, architraves, flooring, and other timber components
• Completing first and second fix carpentry work to a high standard
• Undertaking minor multi-trade tasks where required, including basic patch plastering, tiling, and decorating
• Working safely in occupied properties while providing excellent customer service
• Accurately recording completed work using a handheld device
• Ensuring all work meets company and industry standards

What We're Looking For

To succeed as a Carpenter, you'll need:

• Previous experience working as a Carpenter within the social housing or reactive maintenance sector
• A recognised carpentry qualification or proven time-served experience
• Strong knowledge of domestic repairs and maintenance
• Experience working in occupied properties
• A full UK driving licence
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively
