Skilled Careers are currently recruiting for a plasterer in Stoke On Trent ST4 for 2 months of patching work on student accommodation.

Plasterer Requirements:

• Must hold a valid CSCS Card
• Must be able to provide references from previous employers
• Must have the right to work in the UK
• Full PPE

Responsibilities of the Plasterer:

• Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying necessary primers or bonding agents
• Mixing plaster to the correct consistency using hand tools or power mixers
• Applying plaster smoothly and evenly onto walls, ceilings, or other structures using trowels and hawks
• Repairing damaged plasterwork and ensuring finishes are of a high standard
• Using bricklaying skills for specialised applications when required
• Operating power tools such as drills, mixers, and saws safely and effectively
• Assisting with masonry tasks including bricklaying where necessary
• Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards
• Collaborating with other tradespeople such as roofers, welders, and carpenters on site
