An established and rapidly growing main contractor is seeking an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a flagship £60m development in Central London.

With a reputation for delivering complex new build and refurbishment projects across the residential, commercial, hospitality and mixed-use sectors, the business has built its success on collaboration, integrity, quality and long-term client relationships. The company continues to expand across the UK and has a strong pipeline of major projects secured for the coming years.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to take ownership of a significant scheme while benefiting from a clear and structured progression route to Senior Quantity Surveyor.

The Role

Reporting to a Senior Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in the successful commercial delivery of a major Central London project from procurement through to final account.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing subcontract procurement and package buyout
• Preparing and agreeing subcontract accounts
• Cost reporting and forecasting
• Variations management and change control
• Valuations and applications for payment
• Risk and opportunity management
• Supporting project cash flow and profitability targets
• Working closely with site, design and project delivery teams
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly commercial reports

About You

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor
• Exposure to new build residential, mixed-use, commercial or hotel projects
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive and ambitious approach to career development
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred)
