Gateman / Traffic Marshall Required 

We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Gateman to join our team on a long-term 2-year project in the Cobham area. This role involves managing site access, maintaining site cleanliness, and assisting with general upkeep duties including sweeping and jet washing.

Gateman Job Details:

• Full-time position

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the site
• Record visitors, vehicles, and deliveries
• Open and close gates for authorised personnel and vehicles
• Safely manage vehicle and pedestrian movement on site
• Report suspicious activity or security concerns
• Sweep site areas to maintain cleanliness and safety
• Carry out jet washing of site areas and surfaces
• Keep entrances and surrounding areas tidy
• Follow all health and safety procedures
• Assist site staff with general duties when required

Requirements:

• Valid Traffic Marshall/Banksman ticket required
• Valid CSCS card required
• Previous gateman or site experience preferred
• Good communication and observation skills
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physically fit and capable of manual work
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
