Assistant Site Manager – Residential Development

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Site Manager to join a leading housebuilding client on an exciting residential development project in Kent.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress their career within a well-established developer known for delivering high-quality homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of the development
• Coordinate trades, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth site operations
• Monitor health & safety standards and ensure compliance at all times
• Assist in maintaining build programmes and project timelines
• Conduct quality checks and ensure work meets company standards
• Help manage site documentation and reporting
• Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role within residential construction
• Strong understanding of housebuilding processes and NHBC standards
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification preferred
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
