An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join a forward-thinking consultancy in Bristol, with a strong focus on sustainable and low-carbon design.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take a lead role on projects from concept through to delivery, working across a diverse portfolio of new-build and refurbishment schemes. You’ll be instrumental in driving innovative, energy-efficient solutions while working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

The Role

• Lead mechanical design across a range of building services projects

• Deliver projects from concept through to completion

• Drive low-carbon and sustainable design solutions

• Manage client relationships and contribute to project strategy

• Mentor and support junior engineers

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality delivery

About You

• Degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering

• Strong consultancy background with experience leading projects

• Proven experience across multiple RIBA stages

• Passion for sustainable and low-carbon design

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Chartered or working towards (desirable)
