• Position: Senior Estimator

We’re looking for an experienced Estimator to join a key main contractor in Kent, producing accurate, competitive cost estimates for exciting projects across sectors such as commercial, industrial, care and education.

Duties and responsibilities within the role include:

• Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Engage with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to secure competitive pricing.
• Works closely with the Design Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Contracts Managers to ensure accurate cost planning.
• Assemble cost plans from concept through tender to handover to the Project Surveyors.
• Monitor industry trends, pricing and supply chain factors which could impact project costs.

Who are we looking for?

• Proven experience as a Estimator in main/principal contractor construction on single stage and two stage tenders.
• Experienced in delivering projects in a relevant sector i.e. education, care and commercial
• An Estimator with a working knowledge of NRM2 and SMM7.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Confident managing multiple tenders.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• HND or Degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, or a related field.
