The Opportunity

Our client, a well-established and highly respected volume house builder, is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join their growing construction team. With multiple live developments and a strong pipeline of new projects, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious construction professional looking to progress their career with a reputable residential developer.
The Role

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of a busy residential development, helping to ensure homes are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager with the management of site operations on a residential development
• Coordinate subcontractors and trades to ensure work is completed to programme
• Monitor quality standards and ensure works meet company specifications
• Maintain high standards of health and safety across the site
• Support with site inspections and snagging processes
• Ensure materials and resources are available when required
• Assist with site documentation and reporting
• Help deliver plots in line with build programmes and customer expectations

Requirements

• Previous experience in residential construction, ideally with a developer or main contractor
• Experience working on volume housebuilding developments is desirable
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage subcontractors and site activities effectively
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations

Qualifications (Desirable)

• SMSTS or SSSTS
• CSCS Card
• First Aid at Work
• Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree)
