An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Structural Engineer with around 3–5 years’ experience to join a well-established structural engineering consultancy based close to St Paul’s Cathedral in Central London. This role offers the chance to work on a wide variety of projects with a particular focus on reinforced concrete (RC) frame structures, while developing your technical skills within a supportive and experienced design team.

Job Description

• Designing building structures as a Structural Engineer including reinforced concrete (RC) frame, steel and composite structures on projects across Central London.

• Producing structural calculations, drawings and technical reports for developments delivered across the City of London and surrounding areas.

• Supporting senior engineers with the design and analysis of RC frame structures for residential and commercial schemes in London.

• Coordinating with architects, contractors and other consultants on structural engineering projects in Central London.

• Contributing to project delivery and technical development within the structural engineering team based near St Paul’s Cathedral.

Skills / Qualifications

• 3–5 Years Structural Engineering Experience working as a Structural Engineer within a consultancy environment in London or the UK.

• Reinforced Concrete (RC) Frame Experience on building structures delivered across London or UK developments.

• Structural Design Software Experience using tools such as Tekla Structural Designer, ETABS, Robot or similar within structural engineering roles.

• Degree Qualified Structural or Civil Engineer working towards ICE or IStructE chartership within the London engineering sector.

• Strong Communication & Coordination Skills working with project teams on structural engineering projects in Central London.
