Senior Civil Engineer – Infrastructure Design

Senior Civil Engineer required in London Bridge, London for a growing consultancy delivering infrastructure design across drainage, highways and SuDS projects. Immediate opportunities available with strong career progression and a leading role in expanding the civils team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer with 7–10 years’ experience in development infrastructure design to join a growing engineering consultancy based near London Bridge. Working from a state-of-the-art office (3 days per week), the successful engineer will play a key role in both technical delivery and the continued growth of the civils team.

Job Description

• Leading infrastructure design projects as a Senior Civil Engineer across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments in London.

• Delivering drainage strategies, SuDS design and highway layouts for development infrastructure projects across the London Bridge area.

• Managing Section 278 and Section 38 agreements alongside local authority approvals across Greater London.

• Mentoring and supporting graduate and intermediate Civil Engineers within the London civils team.

• Developing client relationships and supporting the growth of the civil engineering capability within the London Bridge consultancy office.

Skills / Qualifications

• 7–10 Years Infrastructure Design Experience as a Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer within a consultancy environment in London or the South East.

• Drainage & SuDS Design Expertise including development infrastructure projects delivered across London developments.

• Highway Design & S278 Experience including Section 278 and Section 38 agreements within UK civil engineering projects.

• Software Proficiency using tools such as Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, Causeway Flow or similar infrastructure design software.

• Degree Qualified Civil Engineer (or equivalent) ideally working towards ICE Chartership within the London civil engineering sector.
