Role: Carpenter

Rate: £23 – £25 per hour

Contract: Temp to Perm

Location: West London

Working Hours per Week: 40 hours

Start Date: ASAP

My client is one of the leading councils in London and are currently on the lookout for experienced carpenters to carry out reactive maintenance in the social housing sector. the key responsibilities include:

• Carry out all aspects of carpentry including door hanging, skirting, architraves, kitchen fitting, and repairs.

• Complete multi-trade works such as basic plumbing, tiling, patch plastering, and general repairs.

• Work within tenanted and void social housing properties.

• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs in a timely manner.

• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations.

• Maintain good communication with tenants, supervisors, and office staff.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Full UK Driver’s License
• Social Housing Experience
• NVQ Level 2 or higher (and equivalents)
