Job Description

• Leading geotechnical engineering design and project delivery as the Senior Geotechnical Engineer based in Croydon.

• Managing client relationships and acting as the main client-facing Geotechnical Engineer for projects delivered across Croydon and South London.

• Building and developing a geotechnical engineering team within the Croydon office, including mentoring junior engineers and supporting recruitment.

• Overseeing geotechnical analysis, ground investigations, design reports, and technical reviews for projects delivered by the Croydon geotechnical team.

• Collaborating with civil, structural, and multidisciplinary teams while representing geotechnical engineering capability within the Croydon office.

Skills / Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Near Chartered Geotechnical Engineer status required for this Croydon-based Senior Geotechnical Engineer role.

• Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or Engineering Geology relevant to a Senior Geotechnical Engineer position.

• Strong geotechnical design experience including foundations, earthworks, retaining structures, and ground investigations.

• Rail project experience highly desirable for the Senior Geotechnical Engineer joining the Croydon infrastructure team.

• Client-facing experience essential for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer representing projects and building relationships across Croydon and London.
