Mechanical Engineer – Healthcare

Location: West London

Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri, 8.00-17.00

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Up to £45,000 p/a

A globally recognised FM provider is hiring for an experienced Mechanical & AC Engineer to join a high-profile healthcare site in West London. This is a great opportunity to work within a critical environment and become a part of the team that keeps the operation running smoothly 24/7.

The role:

Reporting into the Mechanical Supervisor and working as part of the Engineering team, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and fault-finding of all mechanical building services, ensuring the site remains safe, compliant and fully operational at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out preventative maintenance and completing paperwork to ensure the completion of all scheduled PPM activities.
• Responding to reactive and emergency faults to maintain compliance in line with KPIs
• Managing sub-contractors where necessary to ensure work is completed safely in line with permit-to-work systems.
• Undertaking AP/RP duties which have been assigned.
• Working 40 hours p/w Monday to Friday, with a requirement to participate in the out of hours on call rota.

• Mechanically qualified to Level 3
• F-gas qualified (essential)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Good understanding of health & safety in a relevant environment (healthcare)
• Demonstrate good planning, organization and showing initiative
