The Role

You’ll play a key role in delivering infrastructure schemes from concept through to construction, working closely with clients, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and delivery of S278 highway schemes

• Highways and junction design (Section 38/278 agreements)

• Surface water and foul drainage design

• Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) design and strategy

• Preparation of Flood Risk Assessments and drainage statements

• Liaising with local authorities and statutory bodies

• Supporting junior engineers where appropriate

About You

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in civil infrastructure design

• Strong working knowledge of drainage, highways, and SuDS

• Experience delivering S278 schemes

• Proficient in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage)

• Good understanding of UK design standards and approval processes

• Strong communication skills and client-facing confidence
