Building Services Manager / Technical Services Manager (M&E)

Salary: up to £100,000 + package

My client is a well-established main contractor delivering complex healthcare and commercial projects across London and the South East. Due to continued growth and a strong forward workload, they are looking to appoint an experienced Building Services Manager / Technical Services Manager to join their delivery team.

This is a delivery-led position with genuine design involvement, ideal for someone who enjoys owning MEP packages from design development through to site delivery and handover.

The Role

• Take full responsibility for the MEP delivery of healthcare and commercial schemes
• Manage building services from design stage through construction and commissioning
• Act as the key link between design consultants, subcontractors and site teams
• Review and manage technical design information for buildability and compliance
• Drive coordination, quality, programme and cost across MEP packages
• Support procurement and early engagement with the supply chain
• Work closely with operational and commercial teams to ensure smooth project delivery

About You

• Proven experience in a Building Services Manager or Technical Services Manager role
• Strong background delivering healthcare and/or commercial projects
• Comfortable working in a delivery-focused environment with design responsibility
• Solid understanding of MEP systems, design coordination and site execution
• Experience working for a main contractor or major M&E contractor
• Confident managing consultants, subcontractors and multiple stakeholders
