Foot Mobile Engineer

We are recruiting for an experienced Foot Mobile Engineer to join our facilities management team, covering a portfolio of commercial buildings across Central London. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working across multiple sites without the need for a vehicle.

The Role

As a Foot Mobile Engineer, you will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a number of commercial properties, travelling between sites on foot and via public transport.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance tasks

• Fault-finding and repairs on building services (electrical or multi-skilled depending on background)

• Complete minor installation and remedial works

• Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with statutory regulations

• Accurately complete job sheets, reports, and compliance documentation

• Liaise professionally with clients, building managers, and colleagues

• Participate in call-out rota if required

What We’re Looking For

• Recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds preferred)

• 18th Edition (if electrically biased)

• Experience in commercial building maintenance

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently across multiple sites

• Good communication and customer-facing skills

• Comfortable working in a foot mobile role across Central London
