Electrical maintenance engineer – Holborn –  – £44,000 to £48,000

Currently recruiting for a electrically biased engineer with an NVQ level 2&3 electrical or equivalent for a leading commercial FM service provider.

Skilled Careers is currently recruiting for a electrical maintenance engineer to be based in a commercial building located in Euston.

The successful candidate will be electrically biased (C&G / NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Working with a large maintenance team, he or she will be required to carry out mechanical, electrical and fabric PPM & reactive maintenance.

Hours of work 07:00am – 19:00pm – 4 on 4 off (Days only).

Requirements

• City & Guilds / NVQ in electrical

• You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)

• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance

• An understanding of the following is essential: L8 Water treatment, Pumps, Air Handling units

• Multi-skilled

• Good communication skills

• Excellent customer skills Mechanical duties:

• Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing

• AHUs/FCUs – filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans

• Pumps – PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)

• Motors – PPMs (re-winds, overhauls)

• Water treatment – dipslides, PH & temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing

• Water pressurization units

• Chlorifiers – annual inspection, de-scaling

• Emergency lighting

• Condensers, Condenser Returns

• Cooling towers

• Softeners

• Humidifiers

• Hydraulics

• Pneumatics

• Boilers – re-sets

• Chillers – re-sets, 1st Line faults
