Our client, a well-established and respected residential developer, is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a 150+ unit traditional build housing scheme in Thetford.

The Role

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the development, helping to ensure plots are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Site Manager in managing subcontractors and trades on site

• Coordinating works in line with programme targets

• Monitoring health & safety compliance and site standards

• Conducting quality inspections and ensuring NHBC standards are met

• Assisting with site inductions and toolbox talks

• Overseeing plot progress and ensuring timely completions

• Managing materials, deliveries, and site logistics

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager on residential schemes

• Strong knowledge of traditional build housing projects

• SMSTS or SSSTS

• CSCS card

• First Aid at Work

• Good organisational and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain programme momentum
