Our client is a well-recognised, highly regarded firm seeking an experienced, forward thinking, creative Senior Engineer to integrate into their vast growing structures team in the City of London.

A Masters in Structural or Civil Engineering, chartered with either IStructE or ICE. 6 years of experience in structural engineering consultancy running projects £50m+, great communication skills and are able to collaborate within a team and an interest within architecture, buildings and built up environments. Good analytical skills preferably proficient using Robot, you will need a working knowledge of BS/EN standards, experience delivering projects incorporating LVL 2 BIM with Revit and site experience.
Within this role you will have some responsibilities that would include, reporting to the Group Director in London and team Associates, represent the Company at workshops, design team and site meetings. Develop structural designs on projects at a range of scale in concrete, steel, timber, masonry and other materials, you will be Coordinating with Architects and other Consultants as part of the team in especially in the early design stages, contributing to production of the technical development and R+D initiatives. Review both own work and others as a part of QA. Maintaining an up to date technical knowledge. Effectively using analytical software and interpret outputs to a high standard. Applying theory to practice in a logical way. Highlighting potential problems, looking for resolutions and lastly managing the financial performance of projects ensuring that goals and deliverables of the project are achieved.

Chartered Engineer of a relevant professional institution (IStructE, ICE), A keen interest in architecture and design, someone who enjoys their work and is indisputably passionate about delivering great engineering, able to prioritise workload, meet tight deadlines and work effectively within a team able to build effective working relationships with professionals of all levels and disciplines within them, working knowledge of design software for structural analysis
Some qualities that you should possess for this type of role would be, good organisational skills and the ability to cope with a variety of tasks, A flexible, positive approach and the ability to work as part of a team in a busy, creative atmosphere, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people of all levels, a can do attitude that drives for success.
