Skilled Careers are working with a well respected Main Contractor with a turnover of £150m and a strong presence across sectors nationally who require a building services manager to join their midlands business unit to deliver a notable mixed use residential project in Central Birmingham. 

The company in question have a strong portfolio of projects across the healthcare, commercial and leisure sectors. Based from a head office in Central Birmingham you will work closely with the on site project teams you will report to a regional MEP Lead and be the onsite M&E specialist with responsibility for managing external M&E subcontractors across both schemes. 

The ideal Candidate:

• Ideally Mechanically biased, 5-7 years experience in a similar role

• Sub-contractor management

• Some commercial understanding would be preferred

• Delivery of both M&E services to high value projects throughout the city

You will ideally be from a large Sub Contract or existing Main Contracting background, having run projects valued £5m+, be comfortable managing subcontractors and be a strong communicator across the board.

This client requires a pro-active, motivated person with a desire to learn and progress within an organisation that values staff development and places a high level of importance on ensuring that their staff are well looked after and receive necessary training.
