Project Quantity Surveyor

Main Contractor – Manchester

Up to £62,000 salary plus £6k car allowance and bonus

Skilled Careers are working with an award winning Main Contractor who are looking for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to take the lead on a New Build Education Secondart School.

This is a Main Contractor with offices and projects arcross the UK. This is an opportunity for a Project Quantity Surveyor to be apart of a leading company which gives you the platform to progress your career. 

Duties

• Responsible for running projects commercially from bid to final account.
• Maximise commercial efficiency of the project whilst reducing the risk profile
• Duties include measurement, valuation and agreement of works.
• Preparing tender enquires for subcontract work packages.
• Analysis of tender returns followed by package recommendation report.
• Maintaining and developing relationships with supply chains.
• Negotiating on behalf of the company.
• Monthly contract reports.
• Managing the junior staff

Requirements 

• New Build Education experience
• 6 – 8 years experinece.
• Main Contractor experience required.
• Professional Qualification such as MCIOB, MRICS, CIPS or SCM (desirable)
• Delivery of budgeted profit margins
