M&E Contracts Manager- Electrical
Skilled Careers are working with an established M&E contractor who are part of a multi-national parent company that operate across the commercial fit out, healthcare and residential sectors who require an electrically biased contracts manager to join their London fit out business unit.
As contracts manager you will have an overview of 2-3 fit out projects ranging from £1.5-£7m (inclusive package values circa £10m-£12m) reporting upstream to an opetations manger with autonomy to lead your division.
To lead and manage the Project teams, overseeing multiple contracts / projects. Overseeing PM’s, site teams and sub-contractors safely and provide a quality and timely service in a professional manner to our customers throughout London and South East region whilst delivering consistent high quality fully compliant, zero defect building services installations. • Drive high performing culture within the project teams, ensuring contracts delivered on time and on budget • Provide technical and operational assistance across London and South east MEP contracts • Lead site based project teams on MEP contracts ranging from £1m to £7.5m to ensure contracts delivered to our high standards, in-line with contract delivery programme as well as form of contract • Support PM’s & PE’s on monthly reporting including programme, progress and liaise with the Commercial team to report costs and profit on each project to the business. • To assist and develop new Building Services opportunities and aid the team in generating new customers within the relevant region delivering consistent, cash-backed profit for the business and growing the End-User Client base. • To understand and liaise with all Integral customers to safely provide a quality service to throughout London and South East region building long term relationships and growing business. • To lead your team to deliver the company’s “Management Expectations” successfully across all key areas of the project, managing and supporting the individuals and team that are under your control to meet and exceed business performance targets. • Work with PM’s, QS’s and engineers on pre-construction phase developing tech subs for submission to client, programmes and IRS / DRS with design team • Oversee health and safety across multiple projects working H&S Manager and project PM’s to drive excellence • Ensure project teams work to Integral forms, documentation and process in line with client reporting docs • To identify and develop profitable opportunities through the Procurement opportunity prior to the project commencing. Increase the profitability of the project through Procurement and VE opportunities. • Support growth of client database across division and sector
