I am currently working with a Developer who are looking for an Assistant Estimator to join their growing team in Croydon.

The ideal candidate must have a background of working for main contractors on residential new build schemes, up to £40m.

Duties:

Production of accurate prime costs for the projects
Co-ordinate the tender process
Develop relationships with design consultants, clients, project managers etc
Identify areas of risk and opportunity
Develop relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers
Develop knowledge of market place and competitors
Overseeing a small team of Estimators

Profile:

Build background within residential
Previous experience in a similar role
Significant supervisory experience
Able to maintain a high level of work quality against cost restraints
