Skilled careers are working with a leading M&E contractor with a turnover of £200m and a strong national presence across sectors who require an experienced mechanical construction manager to join their Midlands business unit to deliver a notable mixed use residential project in Central Birmingham with an M&E value of circa £9m, the project gets to site in the next 2 weeks and run for circa 14 months, as mechanical construction manager you will work closely with the mechanical project manager for the duration of the project. 

The Role * Leading on site mechanical team * Liaising with Directors/Project management * Holding client/sub-contractor meetings * Ensuring work is per specification * Ensuring on site Health & Safety regulations are adhered to.

The Candidate * Experience working for an M&E contractor in a supervisory role * Previous experience on projects of a similar size * Highly organised * Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
