M&E Pre-Construction Manager
Skilled careers are working with a well respected medium sized M&E contractor with a turnover of £30m and strong end client relationships across sectors with leading Main Contractor who due to very impressive growth plans are looking for a pre-construction manager to join their business. Based from their head office in Old Street (remote working will be facilitated) they are looking for someone to work closely with the directors and to lead the pre-construction function with responsibility for overseeing an estimating and pre-con focused team and working closely with the commercial and site teams to create and implement processes between the pre-con, external design and delivery teams.
Duties and Experience; •M&E technical input from initial enquiry to completion. •You will have proven bid management experience and excellent communication skills both verbal and written and can present confidently. •You will be working/managing very closely the design and tender/bid team to create strategies and innovative ideas to enhance business development. It is crucial that the person in post has been a strong experience in front end management of tender/pre-con phases in projects of varying sizes and can identify, monitor and deal with design issues.
