Fire Alarm Project Engineer – Rail – Temp or Perm
We are working with a leading rail and infrastructure contracting company who are looking for a Fire Package Manager on a contract or permanent basis. This is a project engineer level role and is essentially project managing a package of works. You will be based in Central London on a LUL sites, working for a leading M&E contractor.
The project is it an interesting stage with installation well progressed. The programme is challenging – both compressed and subject to external change. It is a role for someone who values a challenge and the satisfaction that comes from steering a set of works through difficult circumstances.
The fire alarm works are subcontracted – the general duties for the Fire Alarm Project Engineer include:
·Planning and programme management with subcontractor and main contractor
·Commercial management of sub-contractor’s account
·Manage and coordinate any design change and development with the client and sub-contractor design team
·Overseeing the quality of the sub-contractor’s installation
·Overseeing the sub-contractor’s preparation of ITP documentation
·Support the commissioning and integration activities for the system in collaboration with other parties
·Ensuring adherence to CRL processes throughout

·Lead the project input into fire assurance evidences such as fire stopping requirements, material compliance with standards, fire performance of components
