Job Title: Assistant /  Estimator
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire 
Package: £35,000 – £60,000 plus bonus and car allowance 

I am working with a Residential Contracting business who are looking for an Assistant / Estimator to join a team of four.

As the Assistant / Estimator you would be working on new build developments across London, Hertfordshire and the Northern Home counties on projects of between £15m and £55m. 

The Role

• Reporting into the Senior Estimator working together on multiple projects which include Design & Build and Traditional Build.
• Pricing potential works to meet and fulfil the clients’ direct requirements and to produce estimates from drawing and specifications of works.
• Collating information from material suppliers and sub-contractors to prepare accurate and competitive tenders.
• To provide a detailed schedule of works for each project.
• Keep track of costs and amend where required.

Requirements

• Experience using Conquest Estimating Software.
• Experience working with a Main Contractor.
• Must have worked in Construction before.
• Have worked for a Main Contractor before.
• Ambitions to progress
