Architects recognised in Queen’s birthday honours

Ruth Rogers also picks up award

Richard Rogers’ wife and architects from Purcell and Gradon were among those from the industry to have been awarded gongs in the Queen’s birthday honours list.

Ruth Rogers, the co-founder of the River Cafe, was awarded a CBE while architects Jane Kennedy from conservation specialist Purcell and Tanja Harriet Smith, technical director at Northumberland practice Gradon Architecture, were awarded OBEs.
